Volunteer Sign-Up

We are building programmes across four strands — Language & Literacy, Performing Arts, Production & Craft, and Community & Access — for ages 8–24. Please tell us a little about yourself below, and our team will be in touch about opportunities that match your interests and availability.

Volunteer and Paid Opportunities

We understand that many students want to contribute to the community while also managing the costs of study and everyday life.

You are welcome to join the Trust as a volunteer and gain practical experience, training, references and a certificate of service.

Some programmes may also offer paid teaching or programme-support opportunities. Where you help deliver a paid programme and participating students have paid their programme fees, the Trust may provide you with a teaching or service payment, after programme costs such as venue and materials have been covered.

If you introduce students through your own university, school, community or personal networks, you may also have the opportunity to help deliver those programmes in a paid role, subject to the Trust's programme arrangements and safeguarding requirements.

Volunteer service and paid work are treated separately. Any paid role, responsibilities and payment arrangements will be agreed with you before the programme begins.

Please note: Roles that involve working directly with children require an NZ Police Vetting check, in line with the Children's Act 2014. We will guide you through this process after your initial application.
